Mail Services provides mailing and shipping services to all faculty and staff working in departments at Tulane University. Each department is assigned a unique 4-digit mail code to identify their mail and packages.
Shipping and Mailing Services
Mail Services is here to help faculty and staff with their mailing and shipping needs. We can mail and ship items for your department or research group both domestically and internationally, from a single letter to a bulk shipment of packages. To qualify for our services the letters or packages being sent must be part of your organization's function. All mail is sent through the United States Postal Service and packages through the USPS or FedEx. We are unable to provide postage for personal packages or letters but can take prepaid items to go out for delivery.
• Letter Mail: Please separate any international pieces from the domestic pieces so we are able to process them efficiently.
• Packages: For bulk shipments of more than 15 packages please use our template. Also, please make certain all addresses are neatly printed or typed on the package you are sending. Be sure to follow all instructions for domestic packages.
• International: All international packages require extra information to ship. Please fill out our customs form.
If you have any questions on specific services you may require, like certified mail or dry ice shipments, please email mailbox@tulane.edu.
